Crochet 4: Granny Square Motifs

Crochet 4: Granny Square Motifs is an advanced-beginner class where you’ll expand your granny square skills and learn to create more decorative, motif-based squares.

In this two-session class, you’ll build on your granny square experience by working two beautiful motif styles: a circle-to-square motif and a sunburst-to-square motif. You’ll learn how these designs begin in the round, then shift into a square shape — a useful technique for blankets, bags, scarves, pillows, and other colorful crochet projects.

If you’re comfortable with classic granny squares and ready to try something with a little more shape, texture, and color play, this class is a fun next step.

Prerequisite
